Case Study - Wilmington Green
Wilmington Green

Drivers and pedestrians going past Wilmington Green will be pleased to notice that it has been given a makeover. Groundwork Kent & Medway has managed the improvements and has helped Wilmington Parish Council and the Wilmington Society secure funding for the project via the Living Spaces Fund and Dartford Borough Council.
Rustic paving now features in various areas of the Green and rows of new bollards have been created to match the theme of the village Green sign. Plants have been planted in the ground to grow up the new trellis and trees have been planted to make an attractive natural screen around the dustbin area. Walkers can stop and take a seat on one of the new robust benches to enjoy the changes.
