Oare Gunpowder Works Country Park

Supporting stewards in the Visitor Centre

• Meeting and greeting visitors to make them feel welcome
• Engaging with visitors, talking to people and helping them find their way around and get the most out of their visit
• Providing information or making information available to visitors
• Keeping the centre clean and tidy with some light "house-keeping" such as dusting the surfaces and the occasional sweep.

Volunteer assistance is needed between the hours of 10am and 5pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from April - November 2008.

Preparation for opening will start at 10am with the Visitors Centre open to the public at 10.30am. Closing time is 4.30pm with tidying and locking up completed for a 5pm finish.

Whether the commitment is just for an hour or for the full day, any time volunteered is precious to us and greatly appreciated.

Coffee, tea and biscuits will be available!
