Case Study - Grasshoppers

Grasshoppers

Grasshoppers is a summer holiday playscheme offered free of charge to children across Dartford and Gravesham. The scheme encourages young children to get out and about and explore the natural environment through joining in a series of exciting fun days. Activities range from bat walks to mini beast hunts, bird box building to orienteering. The scheme aims to get children interested in nature from a young age as a way of educating them about their responsibilities towards the environment, creating active and dependable citizens of the future.
